Board Game Club is hosting its final event of the year on Wednesday November 12th with a party games special.

Soho’s Century Club lounge will once again play host to the event, with a menu full of new sociable party games and ‘Boxing Day boredom busters’. Alongside the fresh titles will be Classics Corner, fully stocked with a selection of tabletop favourites.

“Our party games night will be the last Board Game Club of 2025, so we’re going out with a bang!” said Lesley Singleton, Founder of Playtime PR and Co-Founder of Board Game Club.

“The menu will be jam packed with a collection of light, easy to play party games which guests can just sit down and enjoy, perfect for bringing people together at this time of year. As always, we’ll be bringing a selection of much-loved classic games to the table too, so there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.”

On Tuesday September 2nd, Board Game Club hosted its first ever Play Creators Special, in partnership with Mojo Nation.

Designed to celebrate the most innovative board games to launch this year, the event proved extremely popular, attracting the highest number of sign-ups and attendees so far this year.

The menu was curated by Mojo Nation, and contained a diverse selection of winners and nominees from this year’s Play Creators Awards, including The Op’s Flip 7, Golden Bear’s Birdy Call, Big Potato’s Whirly Derby and Wacky Wizard’s Caution Signs, amongst many others.

“Our Play Creators Special was a huge success,” said Lesley Singleton, Founder of Playtime PR and Co-Founder of Board Game Club.

“The room was buzzing and full of happy, smiling people having a good time playing board games, which is at the heart of what Board Game Club is all about. We had a strong menu on offer, full of fresh tabletop treats, and it was wonderful to see such a broad mix of guests enjoying them. Board Game Club regulars, first timers, toy industry faces and of course, members of the games inventor community, all came together to make the event a really special evening.”

Board Game Club will be hosting a Winter Special on Tuesday November 5th.

Taking place from 6pm to 10pm at London’s Century Club, the event welcomes a menu of games to kick the winter season off with a bang.

Titles will span a mix of party games, Boxing Day boredom busters, licensed games, brand new titles, fast-paced games and lots more.

“The Winter Special is shaping up to be a brilliant event, with an eclectic menu filled to the brim with titles that will leave everyone with warm and fuzzy feelings as we head into the dark and colder season,” said Playtime PR Founder, Lesley Singleton.

“Working with Board Game Club on its World Earth Day-inspired special was a brilliant opportunity to showcase what sustainability can look like when companies start to get serious about reducing their environmental impact,” said Rob Hutchins, Editor and Community Manager at Products of Change.

“It was great to be able to talk about sustainability in the context of board games and incredibly interesting and insightful to see how that conversation plays out in a physical setting. There’s a wonderful synergy between design and play – last night’s games menu included a really diverse mix of games that showcased just how successfully sustainability can work alongside creativity to produce brilliant board games.”
