<p>Forming part of Mojo Nation’s annual Play Creators Festival, the live Mojo Pitch event will take place on Thursday, June 25th 2026 at London’s Stamford Bridge Stadium.</p>
<p>Crayola will also be involved in the Virtual Mojo Pitch event, taking place digitally across July 14th, 15th and 16th 2026.</p>
<p>Both the live and virtual events will welcome inventors, invention studios and design agencies as they pitch new toy and game concepts to a range of companies, each on the lookout for new products.</p>

<p><strong>Crayola has debuted its 2026 slate at New York Toy Fair this past week.</strong></p>
<p>Highlights include the Scribble Scrubbie Color Blast Maker Airbrush, a kid-friendly airbrush system that transforms Crayola markers into a spray-art tool, and the Scribble Scrubbie Dino Glow Mountain which features baby glow dino pets into a light-up cave.</p>
<p>Elsewhere, Crayola has teamed up with Ms. Rachel for the Color Wonder Ms. Rachel Magic Light and Sound Brush, which is pitched as &#8216;a mess-free miracle and educational companion all-in-one&#8217;.</p>
<p>Sticking with Color Wonder, the Color Wonder Scented Kitchen Playset allows kids to colour and stamp 15 food-themed colouring sheets with scented markers and ink pads, then transform the box into a play oven.</p>
<p>Finally, Crayola All Grown Up – launching later this year – is a line alcohol-based markers that provide &#8216;superior blending and shading&#8217;. The range also spans eight colouring books centred on themes like Cozy Cottages, Witchy Woman, Stay Hydrated and Plant Lady.</p>

<p><strong>Crayola has inked a multi-year agreement for MGA Entertainment to produce and distribute Crayola-inspired dolls and licensed merchandise under its L.O.L. Surprise! Loves brand.</strong></p>
<p>Beginning early 2024, MGA will create a line of L.O.L Surprise! Loves Crayola toys, with dolls themed around iconic Crayola colour names. The L.O.L. Surprise! ball collection will feature nine Crayola colour-themed dolls, while the capsule collection will feature eight Crayola colour-themed dolls – including crayons to design the dolls’ looks.</p>
<p>“We are excited to bring two iconic brands together that kids and parents love,” said Isaac Larian, Founder and CEO at MGA Entertainment.</p>
<p>“The Crayola brand challenged the L.O.L. Surprise! team to design new toys that would engage kids’ creativity and provide a new colourful way to play with the dolls.”</p>
<p>MGA Entertainment and Crayola also will be sub-licensing the designs of the Crayola-themed doll line into a full cross-category program, including children’s apparel, accessories, home, beauty and party available beginning Spring 2024 across retail channels.</p>
<p>Rich Wuerthele, Crayola President &amp; CEO, added: “We are thrilled to partner with MGA on the L.O.L Surprise! Loves Crayola product assortment that colourfully encourages self-expression.</p>

Inventors will be able to pitch concepts to Crayola at this year’s Mojo Pitch event.</strong></p>
<p>Forming part of this year’s Play Creators Festival, the live Mojo Pitch event will take place on Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 at London’s Twickenham Stadium. Crayola will also be involved in the Virtual Mojo Pitch event, taking place digitally across October 12th and 13th.</p>

Earlier this year, the purpose-led footwear brand Native Shoes debuted a limited-edition collaboration with Crayola, celebrating the brands’ shared creativity.</strong></p>
<p>The range spans 11 of Native Shoes’ most popular styles for adults and kids reimagined with bright, abstract scribble prints, mimicking the laydown and bold colours of classic Crayola markers.</p>
<p>To delve into the design of the range, we caught up with Gabe Lam, Footwear Design and Development Manager at Native Shoes.</p>

<p><strong>Hi Gabe, great to connect! To kick us off, for anyone new to Native Shoes, how would describe the brand and its values?</strong><br />
It seems the heavier the world gets, the more it needs lightness. That’s why we exist: designing products which help all to live lightly. Founded in 2009, Native Shoes fuses innovation, sustainability and curiosity to create a lighter, healthier, happier world for us all.</p>
<p>We are dedicated to our purpose: asking more ‘what ifs’, encouraging tiny activism and kindness to all kinds, our goal is for each and every pair of Native Shoes to be 100% life cycle managed by 2023.</p>
<p><strong>How did the collaboration with Crayola come about? What made them a good fit for Native?</strong><br />
From the very start we knew we were a natural fit because we share a lot of the same core values. Crayola is passionate about providing tools to inspire creativity and play, which is aligned with Native Shoes’ purpose of designing products to help everyone live lightly. This was an opportunity to celebrate our shared creativity, light-heartedness and love of colour.</p>

<p><strong>What did your first few creative steps look like when designing the range?</strong><br />
Both Native Shoes and Crayola are known for our playful use of colour. Our first creative steps were to investigate the ways we could celebrate colour, creativity and play. From there, we took a deep dive into both the Crayola and Native Shoes colour palettes to identify the bold, bright colours which spoke to both of our brands.</p>
<p><strong>The scribble design really captures Crayola in a smart way too.</strong><br />
Yes, the iconic scribble print really brings to life the brands’ shared colour, creativity and play. It reminds us of our old sketchbooks as kids, scribbling with markers with no limits to our imagination.</p>
<p>We also interpreted this another way with the gradient block design &#8211; this was the result of taking Crayola’s most popular colours and giving them a very fun Native Shoes treatment.</p>

You will definitely be seeing more brand collaboration from Native Shoes in the future. You can expect all future collaborations to lean into our brand purpose and sense of fun, working with brands that share the same core values and goal of helping everyone live lightly.</p>

This month has seen knitwear brand Chinti &amp; Parker launch a new Crayola collection, spanning sweater, tracksuits and t-shirts.</strong></p>
<p>We spoke with Anna Singh, Co-Founder at Chinti &amp; Parker, about designing the range – and why Crayola proved a perfect fit for the firm.</p>

<p><strong>Hi Anna; great to connect. Before we dive into all things Chinti &amp; Parker, how did you find yourself working in fashion?</strong><br />
Prior to Chinti &amp; Parker, I co-founded Pout, a British luxury cosmetics brand. In 2009, I launched Chinti and Parker alongside my cousin Rachael Wood. We saw a gap in the market and wanted to create our own collections with wit, detail and a British sense of humour.</p>
<p><strong>You mention spotting a gap in the market – what was that gap?</strong><br />
Well Rachael and I would often do trips to the US and find ourselves coming back armed with jersey-based American brands such as Vince and James Perse. We noticed that this was missing in the UK market and found ourselves on the Chinti &amp; Parker path.</p>
<p><strong>If I asked you to sum up Chinti &amp; Parker’s brand values in just three words, what would you say?</strong><br />
Our core values are positive, fun and energetic.</p>

<p><strong>Great, let’s move onto your recent team up with Crayola. How did the collaboration come about?</strong><br />
Chinti had previously done nostalgic collaborations with Miffy, Hello Kitty and Peanuts. During Covid and post lockdown we were looking for a lift of energy. Crayola seemed like the perfect partner to collaborate with. We have always loved Crayola and the collection celebrates creativity and vibrant colours; it really captures everything that we stand for.</p>
<p><strong>From a design point of view, Crayola as a brand doesn’t have characters or worlds to lean on. With that in mind, what did your first few creative steps look like when designing the range?</strong><br />
We revel in colour so it was the main emphasis. We focused on head-to-toe colour, like a Crayola crayon. We also used their distinctive black markings and carefully placed colour names on the garments.</p>

<p>Having a full spectrum of colours to explore freedom of expression and creativity, we felt comfortable taking what Crayola do best and turning it into a true celebration and love of colour.</p>
<p><strong>You mention using the crayons for inspiration; where there any specific colours that you’ve built the range around?</strong><br />
Yes! For this collaboration, we focused on selecting four crayon colours that captured our attention… Purple Heart, Tickle Me Pink, Blue Eyes and Garden Green. For Chinti &amp; Parker, these colours really expressed value of Crayola.</p>

Always; we love a collaboration. We can go to town with creativity and push the boundaries. We are always keen to champion creativity and fun within collaborations and have lots of ideas in the pipeline.</p>
<p><strong>We’ll keep eyes peeled for those. Finally, how do you fuel your creativity?</strong><br />
A combination of travel, galleries, and vintage finds.</p>
