Gibsons is launching two feline-themed games in Take Cat and Categories.

Take Cat – from designer Gareth Edwards – centres on matching cats and stealing cards by one-upping your opponents.

Elsewhere, Categories comes from designer Jim Williams, with help from Iris Bierlein, Paul Campbell, and Richard Williams, and sees players use letter tiles to create words that match the ever-changing Category cards.

“Categories and Take Cat were an absolute hit at UK Games Expo,” said Lauren Haywood-Law, Game Designer at Gibsons.

“With more and more families attending, it was fantastic to offer such fun and engaging games for everyone to enjoy. Categories sparked plenty of laughs with its hilarious combinations and creative justifications, while Take Cat, with its cheeky stealing, delivered fast-paced fun for players of all ages.”
