Hasbro is launching Monopoly Brainrot Billionaire in August.

Pitched as a ‘Gen Z and Gen Alpha take on Monopoly’, the game sees players buy properties and collect brainrot chips to earn billions.

‘Slop’ and ‘Chat’ cards replace ‘Chance’ and ‘Community Chest’, while locations include Rage Bait Road, Rizz Avenue and Cooked Courtyard.

The world’s first Monopoly Steakhouse has opened in Mexico, courtesy of a partnership between Timeless Brands and Hasbro.

Located in Plaza Áuriga within the city of San Pedro Garza García, the restaurant fuses ‘the elegance of a classic steakhouse with the creativity, humour and distinctive and luxurious aesthetic of the Monopoly universe’.

“Monopoly Steakhouse is not just a restaurant; it’s an experience where luxury and nostalgia meet,” said Adrián J. Romero, CEO of Timeless Brands.

“We aim to reinterpret the classic steakhouse with a contemporary approach – focused on excellence in food, mixology, and service – within an atmosphere that celebrates the legacy of the world’s most famous board game.”

Hasbro is launching Fourth Wing editions of Monopoly and Monopoly Deal.

Monopoly Fourth Wing Edition will see players use Outposts and Strongholds to lay claim over locations, train to defeat opponents on the mat and earn as many Blades as possible. The last rider with Blades at the end wins

Elsewhere, in Monopoly Deal Fourth Wing Edition, players use signet to gain a competitive advantage over other riders and protect locations and dragons. Action cards are used to collect blades for a personal Armory, summon and swap properties.

Both games land on July 15th.

Hasbro has shed light on its latest edition of Monopoly Deal – Monopoly Deal No Mercy.

The game sees players race to be the first to collect three property sets, but in this version sets can be stolen instantly.

In addition, new action cards can be used to charge double rent, snatch an opponent’s Bank, or force them to hand over cards when they can’t pay.

Monopoly Deal No Mercy is available now at Walmart in the US and elsewhere from July.

Shoe Palace has partnered with Hasbro on its third Monopoly collection.

Available from December 5th, this latest collection spans tees, hoodies and ‘elevated fashion items’ featuring artwork and text from the iconic game.

Mr. Monopoly is present on multiple pieces of the collection, and there are hats and beanies that include Chance Cards and classic artwork.

Hasbro has teamed up with Netflix to launch a KPop Demon Hunters edition of Monopoly Deal.

The game sees players collect item cards featuring the objects that Rumi, Mira and Zoey need to pull off the show and seal the Honmoon. On a turn, players draw and play cards to build their collection, add fan cards to a personal Fan Club and use them to pay other players who go after you.

Fans can also use action cards to go viral, take on the spicy challenge, deploy Bobby to watch out for trouble, and other actions that nod to the film. The first player to complete three different item sets wins.

The game lands on January 1st, 2026.

Hasbro has partnered with Royal Mail for a set of 10 stamps celebrating Monopoly’s 90th anniversary.

The stamps capture moments and locations from the UK edition of the game, including:

• Old Kent Road
• Pentonville Road
• Whitehall
• Free Parking and Vine Street
• Park Lane
• Liverpool Street Station
• Oxford Street and Regent Street
• Coventry Street
• Chance

In addition to the stamps, Royal Mail is launching a limited-edition run of 5,000 Monopoly postbox playing tokens, available for purchase exclusively via the Royal Mail website.

“Monopoly has been a cherished part of British family life for generations, and we’re proud to celebrate its 90th anniversary with this Special Stamp issue,” said David Gold, Director of External Affairs & Policy at Royal Mail.

“These designs pay tribute to the game’s enduring legacy and its deep connection to London’s streets and culture. We hope fans of all ages will enjoy this nostalgic journey around the board.”

Mattel and Hasbro are bringing Hot Wheels and Monopoly together in the Hot Wheels Pass ‘N Go die-cast collectible.

Available from next month, the collectible is modelled after Monopoly’s Race Car token.

In this version, players compete to collect familiar items from Stitch’s world and win by being the first to collect three different sets.

Along the way, action cards let players call on Stitch to collect money, snatch or swap items.

Monopoly Deal: Stitch Edition is available from August.
