Bucket Listers has teamed up with Hasbro to bring a Candy Land Café to San Digeo in July.

The Candy Land Café pop-up will run for a limited time from July 9th and will boast immersive sets, interactive moments and a themed menu – including items like rainbow burgers, chocolate BBQ sliders and a shareable Chocolate River fondue experience.

“Bucket Listers is thrilled to work with Hasbro to bring Candy Land to life in a way fans have never experienced before,” said Derek Berry, President of Experiences at Bucket Listers.

“This is more than a café – it’s a full journey through one of the most popular games of all time. San Diego was the perfect place for it to make its debut this summer.”

Hasbro has teamed up with luxury candy brand Sugarfina on a limited edition of Candy Land containing real sweets.

While traveling to the Candy Castle, players will pass by Sugarfina-inspired destinations like the Haunted Cookie House, Sugarfina Boutique and Gummy Bear Clouds.

When players draw a picture card, they can move their pawn along the path to the matching picture to take a piece of candy from the corresponding drawer. Sweets in the game includes lQueen Frostine Pearls, Jolly Gumdrops and Mr. Mint Caramels.

The game also comes with a Strawberry Pink Cloud Chocolate Bar – a strawberry-flavoured white chocolate bar topped with sparkling sugar and pop rocks.

“Putting a spin on whimsy is what Sugarfina is known for,” said Scott LaPorta, CEO and Co-Investor of Sugarfina.

“With this collaboration, we were excited to innovate the beloved childhood game while bringing a new way of candy tasting to grown-ups and children alike.”

Reebok has teamed with Hasbro to launch a Candy Land footwear collection.

The Candy Land x Reebok Question Mid “Sweet Moves” basketball shoe sees classic Candy Land elements spread across the toe box and heel, while a Rainbow Trail-inspired side window pops from the upper.

Elsewhere, the Candy Land x Reebok Kamikaze II “Bring the Sweet” boasts colour-blocking inspired by Candy Land’s winding Rainbow Path.

Rounding out the collection is a complete range of kids’ footwear featuring the heritage running Classic Leather and classic tennis Club C 85.

The Candy Land x Reebok Classic Leather “Where Kandy Rules” is an all-over graphic take on the retro runner, featuring mixed Candy Land prints inspired by the colourful journey to King Kandy’s Castle.

The Candy Land x Reebok Club C 85 “Make the Journey” shoe is similar to the Candy Land Kamikaze II in being  a colour-blocked take on the Club C 85.

Each shoe in the collection will ship with Iverson Gingerbread Character pawn hangtags in a sneaker box that unfolds into a playable ‘Court of King Kandy’ game board.

The Reebok x Candy Land footwear capsule is available globally from April 21st.

Food Network has started production on a Candy Land TV show, based on the classic Hasbro game.

Hosted by Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth, the six-episode competition features cake and sugar artists tasked with creating confectionary showpieces for a chance to win $25,000.

In order to win, players must make their way through the world of Candy Land seeking out different flavours and unique ingredients to use in each edible land as they work to reach their final destination: King Kandy’s Castle.

“Whether it is exploring the Peppermint Forest or a hike to the Gumdrop Mountains, Candy Land has long been a childhood staple, allowing players’ imaginations to run free,” said Food Network President Courtney White.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer our audience an escape to this magical land, and with Kristin Chenoweth as host, there is nobody better at taking viewers on this immersive journey for some fun and excitement.”

Chenoweth added: “I’m so excited for the world to see these talented confectionary artists and the incredible set. And I can’t wait to wear a dress again.”
