TOMY to showcase Human Controller at UK Games Expo

TOMY will showcase its Human Controller party game at UK Games Expo later this week.

The TOMY stand has been designed to create an immersive Human Controller demo experience.

Players will be able to don a Bluetooth-connected headset which connects to a smart device to guide a teammate through five of the 30 hilarious interactive mini games included. Visitors to the stand will have the opportunity to control a ‘volunteer human’ or submit themselves to being controlled to try and win time-related and point-based challenges.

“This will be the first time we’ve demonstrated Human Controller to a captive consumer audience” said Mary Wood, Managing Director of TOMY Europe.

“UK Games Expo is the perfect platform for us to gauge visitor reaction, interact with game enthusiasts, initiate social sharing and gain first hand consumer feedback. Having a fully branded stand dedicated solely to showcasing Human Controller, visitors can either don the headset and place their trust in a team mate to complete tasks themselves or have a go at directing our team of ‘volunteer humans’ ready and waiting to be ‘controlled’! Even a task as simple as directing someone to sit on a chair promises to offer hilarious and social-capture opportunities prior to the product launching across mass retail in August.”
