TechUp, a firm dedicated to highlighting the future of play, are showcasing a range of innovations in the toy and game space at SXSW Gaming, taking place in Austin, Texas this weekend.
Products that visitors to SXSW Gaming can get to grips with include Mattel’s TechMods (ahead of its launch on Indiegogo in April), Draw & Code’s SwapBots, X2 Games’ voice-controlled murder mystery board game St Noire, Reach Robotics’ MekaMon and WowWee’s Untamed Mad Lab collection.
“With connected play on track to increase nearly 200% in less than four years, combined with the exponential growth across augmented reality, voice and robotics, we will see more connected ways for kids and families to play, learn and genuinely have fun together,” said TechUp’s Valerie Vacante.
