Born to License brings Crazy Deuce Studios and King Features together for Flash Gordon card game

Born to License has united Crazy Deuce Studios and King Features for a Flash Gordon card game.

Total Chaos: Flash Gordon Universe has launched on Kickstarter, with funds supporting production, team growth and the development of future licensed expansions.

Total Chaos brings together heroes and villains from Flash Gordon movies, comics and beyond. The debut set features characters like Flash, Ming the Merciless, Dale Arden and Prince Vultan, all reimagined through original artwork and strategic gameplay.

“This is a love letter to fans of retro sci-fi, card games, and pop culture,” said William Danz, Creator and Founder of Crazy Deuce Studios.

“Not only is it the first officially licensed CCG for Flash Gordon, it’s the start of something much bigger. We’re building a crossover universe where multiple IPs collide – letting fans create battles they’ve only dreamed about.”

The team at Born to License guided Crazy Deuce Studios through the process of securing the rights to the Flash Gordon IP by working closely with King Features. From the earliest stages of negotiations, Born to License provided strategic guidance and hands-on support, helping navigate the complexities of licensing and successfully execute the contract.

Born to License also remained a close partner throughout product development, offering input on brand alignment, asset approvals and marketing strategy.
