Australian publisher King of the Castle – in partnership with Quillsilver Studio and Fire Opal Media – is bringing the critically acclaimed video game Armello into board games.
Armello: The Board Game, designed by Ron Heinsoo, will launch on Kickstarter in Q1 2024.
“Armello was a landmark in digital board games when it was released in 2015, so the decision to port it back to the tabletop was a natural one,” said Andre Bishop, director of King of the Castle.
“With Armello: The Board Game, we’re thrilled to invite both long-time fans and newcomers to experience the magic and deep strategy that Armello has to offer.”
Blake Mizzi at League of Geeks added: “We couldn’t be happier to be partnering with King of the Castle to create a board game adaptation of Armello.
“Armello has such a devoted fanbase to this day, and we can’t wait to see how the tabletop community embraces this new chapter in Armello’s journey.”
