Hasbro drops ‘Mr’ from Mr Potato Head brand to promote gender equality and inclusion
Hasbro is officially dropping the ‘Mr’ from the Mr Potato Head brand and logo to promote gender equality and inclusion.
The name change will come with fresh branding and more inclusive messaging, and while the branding will change, Hasbro will still sell Mr Potato Head and Mrs Potato Head.
In addition, the firm is launching Create Your Potato Head Family this Fall, a new play-set that allows kids to imagine and create their own Potato Head family using an array of potato bodies and 42 accessories.
