Studio Lambert, the creators of Gogglebox, is looking for toy and game inventors to take part in its new TV series, Buy It Now.
The show sees entrepreneurs, inventors and licence holders pitch their product to an audience of potential customers and a panel of professional buyers from some of Britain’s best known retailers, with the hope of securing orders.
Each inventor will have 90 seconds to convince a studio audience to buy their product. If they are successful in selling to at least one member of the audience, they will then have the opportunity to speak to the panel of retailers, who may choose to make a big order.
During the pilot episode of Buy it Now filmed back in January, one entrepreneur received provisional orders worth nearly £150,000, while another inventor had a provisional order for 10,000 units.
