Ellie Dix – the game designer behind titles like Ginger Fox’s Top Secret: Briefs, Gamewright’s A Midsummer Night’s Fayre and Laurence King’s Roughly – will share 20 ways of generating new ideas at this year’s Play Creators Conference.
Ellie’s session, titled ‘Designing with your Dog – and Other Ideas’, will explore idea generation and creative thinking as she details 20 different ways to have ideas for games and toys.
This year’s Play Creators Conference is taking place at London’s Stamford Bridge Stadium on Wednesday, June 25th.

More Recent Play Creators Festival
A celebration of the industry’s design and inventor talent, among the winners this year are Seven Towns, The Op Games’ Tony Serebriany and Smart Toys and Games.
The session will see Reemsborko, Pophouse Entertainment, Two Daughters Entertainment, Licensing Link, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Pop Paper City detail opportunities around their brands to a room of toy and game companies and inventors.
The session will explore the considerations that come into play when creating for kidults – and whether it’s an area that inventors should be focusing on.
The panel will be chaired by Hasbro’s Naomi Brugnatelli and feature DesignbyTouch’s Paul Boucher, inventor Danielle Reynolds and The Op Games’ Tony Serebriany.
