Wilder readies NERF Battle Play Experience targets and accessories
Wilder has teamed up with Hasbro to create a NERF Battle Play Experience Targets and Accessories line.
Set to launch in July, the collection spans interactive targets, battle glasses and wearable vests.
The 360 Battlezone targets boast SFX sounds that play as you fight off zombie, dinosaur and robot threats, while Strike ‘N’ Score allows players to compete in head-to-head battles or solo play.
Elsewhere, the Zombie Spin Strike electronic target features three speed modes, and each successful Zombie hit splits the target. The Bot Arena Clash boasts four interactive game modes, as players take down robots and drones, rack up points, and race against the clock.
“This launch is a full-circle moment for me,” said Casey Karls, CEO of Wilder.
“Growing up, NERF was such a big part of my life, making battlefields in my basement and now, with our stellar PD team we get to contribute to the innovation that inspired me as a kid. Our new line transforms how kids play by blending immersive technology with action-packed fun. It’s an exciting step forward for Wilder and the product line as a whole.”
Bradley Bowman, Senior Director, Licensed Consumer Products, Global Toy at Hasbro, added: “We’ve had a blast – no pun intended – working with Wilder to take the NERF play experience to exhilarating new heights with video game-inspired battle targets and accessories to complement Hasbro’s NERF blasters.
“Innovation, fun and heart-pounding adrenaline are core aspects of NERF’s DNA. Pair that with Wilder’s creativity and high energy play, and we have a recipe for success.”
