Zatu Distribution brings Tally Up! to the UK

Tally Up!, the latest game from Flip 7 designer Eric Olsen, is coming to the UK courtesy of Zatu Distribution.

The game – published by Olsen’s own Messy Table Games – will make its UK debut later this month at UK Games Expo on the Waterstones retail stand. This will be followed by a wider retail release across the UK.

Tally Up! is pitched as a fast-paced, push-your-luck dice game that challenges players to master ‘the art of the exit’. The game sees players decide whether to bank their points or risk a ‘Bust’ for a higher score. The six Tally Dice are categorised into Low, Medium and High Risk. While the active player chooses which dice to roll, every player must simultaneously decide whether they are in or out. A single roll can skyrocket the running total and if two stars appear, everyone still in goes bust. But if three stars appear, then everyone can gain a bonus.

“Where Flip 7 was about one more card, Tally Up! is about one more roll,” said Eric Olsen, designer of Tally Up!

“I’ve loved putting together Tally Up! and we’re delighted to be launching the game to UK retailers through the powerhouse that is Zatu Distribution. After a Walmart release in the US, a UKGE release at Waterstones is everything we could want for the game, and we can’t wait to see how UK gamers get on with it. The only question is – are you IN or OUT?”

The game also includes an optional digital scoring companion app. Demos of Tally Up! will be available throughout UKGE at the Zatu Distribution stand (2-472), and the game will be available at the Waterstones stand (2-402).
