This year’s Spiel show in Essen will be the biggest to date, with around 32,400 sqm of booth space across six halls, beating a previous record set in 2019.
Spiel 2023 will also boast a new hall concept, with games and publishers grouped according to categories. Halls 2, 4, 5 and 6 will house family games, while Hall 1 will feature role-playing games, trading card games and miniatures games.
‘Connoisseur games’ and expert games will be based in Hall 3. In the peripheral areas, visitors will also find games from the other categories.
850 exhibitors from 55 nations will present games at the show this year. Spiel 2023 takes place from Thursday, October 5th to Sunday, October 8th.
