Deirdre Cross, Jessica Aceti and Andrew Perlmutter behind new play studio: The Office of Tiffany Birdsong

Industry leaders Deirdre Cross, Jessica Aceti and Andrew Perlmutter today unveil The Office of Tiffany Birdsong. This creative entertainment incubator is set to reimagine how people connect through play. The studio arrives with a mission to prioritize ‘social architecture’ – designing experiences that favour human connection and shared moments over complex rules.
The Office of Tiffany Birdsong is founded and led by CEO Deirdre Cross and Jessica Aceti. Deirdre previously served as SVP of Games at Moose Toys and Head of Funko Games. Jessica Aceti has served as VP at not only Prospero Hall but also Funko Games.
Joining them as a strategic advisor and investor is Andrew Perlmutter, former CEO of pop-culture brand Funko. Rounding out the leadership team is Matt Christianson, who joins as Director of Product Development – overseeing the studio’s design standards and commitment to immediate playability.
“We believe the best game design focuses on what’shappening around the tabletop – not just on it,” said Deidre. “The Office of Tiffany Birdsong is built to create ‘The Perfect Hour’ – that window where time disappears, and play becomes the bridge to authentic connection. We’re designing the total game-night experience: from the rules to the screams of laughter.”

Speaking about his role in the company, Andrew Perlmutter said: “What Deirdre and Jessica are building is a major market opportunity that I’m proud to support.” He added: “Having worked closely with this team for years, I have immense respect for their vision… I’m excited to invest in this new endeavor and advise the studio as they scale this philosophy of play into a global brand.”
Alongside the studio’s launch, the team is proud to announce its debut consumer brand: Hall Party Games. This brand represents a ‘same great taste, less filling’ evolution of the team’s design philosophy. By leveraging the high-end production values that defined the founders’ tenures at Prospero Hall and Funko Games, the new brand focuses on games that are fun, accessible, and provide rapid playability. The goal is to deliver premium, aesthetically bold experiences that remove the intellectual friction and complex rule-learning that often act as barriers to play.
The studio emphasis is also set to be ‘TikTok-forward’ in showcasing creations in this new era of discovery-commerce play. Hall Party Game is dedicated to creating social, easy-to-learn and visually stunning games that turn any gathering into a party. Its first products. The founding team is now booking meetings at May’s Licensing Expo in Las Vegas to discuss upcoming opportunities.
