Streamline Design’s David Yakos to discuss ‘From Inspiration to Production’ at Play Creators Conference 2026

Award-winning inventor, artist and engineer David Yakos will share a behind-the-scenes look at how toy and game ideas are discovered, developed, refined and pitched at this year’s Play Creators Conference.

Through examples of inspiration, creativity, prototypes, sell sheets and real-world imagination strategy, David will help designers better understand what it takes to turn a spark of an idea into an industry-ready product.

David has licensed more than 180 inventions across toys, games, consumer products, NASA and industrial technology. A two-time Toy-Innovator-of-the-Year and 2024 Game-Designer-of-the-Year winner, he brings a rare mix of creativity, engineering and real-world pitching experience to the invention process.
